Educational content only — not medical advice.
Metabolic Manna publishes educational content based on peer-reviewed research. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for professional medical guidance. The information here is intended to help readers make informed conversations with their own healthcare providers — not to replace those conversations.

What we are, and what we aren't
We are a two-person health-education brand that cites every claim, traces each to the primary research, and flags uncertainty where the evidence is thin.
We are not physicians, registered dietitians, or licensed healthcare providers. Nothing on this site constitutes a doctor-patient relationship.
When to stop
If you experience persistent dizziness, fainting, chest pain, extreme fatigue, mood changes, hormonal disruption (especially menstrual-cycle changes), or any other symptoms that concern you — stop any fasting protocol immediately and consult a healthcare provider. Fasting is a tool, not a test of character.
Sources and citations
We cite peer-reviewed sources wherever possible, link directly to PubMed or the journal of publication, and update content as new evidence emerges. If you find an error in a citation or think we've mis-characterized a study, please email brian@metabolicmanna.com. See also how we evaluate research.
